Update: OowOah Seminars — A New Revenue Stream in Development

We’re pleased to share a major update on the ongoing development of OowOah, our next-generation VR meeting and events platform.

Our team at High5VR has been working on expanding OowOah beyond business meetings, introducing a brand-new feature called OowOah Seminars — a public-facing module designed to create a significant new revenue stream once launched.

What Is OowOah Seminars?

OowOah Seminars is being developed to host large-scale public events in VR — from live seminars and training sessions to music performances and interactive experiences.

Each event will operate in one of two ways:

  • 🎥 VR Camera Mode: A live video feed from a connected camera is streamed directly into the VR auditorium.
  • 🧍‍♂️ Full VR Mode: The speaker appears as a virtual avatar, interacting directly with the audience in real time.

Both options will allow users to host paid or free events, with ticketing handled through integrated payment systems.

Scalability and Live Streaming Tests

We’re preparing to test mass audience streaming capabilities, starting with support for up to 10,000 concurrent viewers during a single event.

Once stable at this level, our goal is to scale the platform beyond 10,000 users, enabling truly global live events that can be experienced in full VR.

This capability will open the door to:

  • Worldwide seminars, concerts, and conferences.
  • Multi-language global broadcasts.
  • Partnerships with event hosts, educators, and entertainment companies.

Every viewer represents a potential ticket sale, replay purchase, or sponsorship opportunity, creating an entirely new mass-scale income stream for OowOah.

How It Works

  • Speakers register and create events via their OowOah dashboard.
  • Events can be free or paid, with ticket pricing controlled by the speaker.
  • Viewers access through a dedicated public app (planned for the Meta Store).
  • Payments are handled via Stripe, and OowOah earns a small commission per ticket sale.
  • Recorded events can be sold or replayed for ongoing revenue.

Audience Experience

Before events begin, attendees enter a virtual lobby displaying event details, countdown timers, and sponsor content.
When the event starts, they move into the main seminar room, where they can:

  • Watch the live speaker (via VR or camera feed)
  • Experience spatial audio and realistic crowd presence
  • Participate in Q&A sessions (for VR events)
  • View or purchase recorded versions after the event

Revenue Model

  • 🎟️ Ticket Sales: OowOah retains a percentage from every paid event.
  • 💾 Replays: Recorded content can be sold for secondary income.
  • 💼 Future Upgrades: Premium speaker accounts, brand partnerships, and advertising options planned for later phases.

This creates a scalable, recurring income model that grows as the platform user base expands.

Next Steps

  • Phase 1: Finalise OowOah Business Platform (Testing: Dec 2025 – Jan 2026)
  • Phase 2: Begin OowOah Seminars development
  • Phase 3: Conduct large-scale streaming tests (targeting 10,000 concurrent viewers)
  • Phase 4: Prepare for public rollout and early speaker onboarding in 2026

These phases will confirm technical stability, performance, and monetisation models before full-scale release.

Looking Ahead

The OowOah Seminars module marks a major step forward for the project — expanding from private business meetings to mass-market virtual events.

By building towards an infrastructure capable of supporting up to 10,000 live participants, with plans to scale beyond that, OowOah is positioning itself as a next-generation platform for both professional and public use.

While we’re still in the development phase, this direction represents a key move toward sustainable, recurring revenue growth and long-term platform scalability.
